I'm often asked what books/authors I would recommend
from readers who have read all of my books and are looking for more good
reads. If you're one of those folks and are looking for a good read, I
have provided my top 40 picks for novels by some of my favorite
authors. Enjoy.
RAGNAROK, the fourth installment of the Jack Sigler Thrillers hits stores today in all formats (print, e-book and audio). This is, by far, the wildest Chess Team story yet, and in my opinion, feature’s one of the coolest creatures I have yet to conjure. Myth and science collide once again and chaos ensues. Will the team come togehter to defeat this new global threat, or will they stay divided and fall? Grab a copy and find out!
That’s right, the third book in the Brainstorm Trilogy (Callsign: King, Callsign: King – Underworld and Callsign: King – Blackout) is now out and available in e-book and print formats. If you haven’t started this novella triple threat yet, visit the Chesspocalypse page for links to buy all three. OR, give me another month or two and I’ll have the collection released as a single omnibus. All together, the Brainstorm Trilogy is nearly 140,000 words long—the length of a very long novel. At $2.99 a pop (for the e-book), you’re getting a brand new, super-sized Jack Sigler thriller for under $10 (they’re normally $12.99 — Threshold was $15). For a fair comparison, the print books are $9.99 each for a total of $30, just $2 more than the Threshold cover price, but 30,000 words longer. Here’s the story summary:
Holy crap. Not exactly an elegant expression of surprise/relief/excitement, but it pretty well summarizes how I feel as 2011 comes to a close. I wrote four novels (SECONDWORLD, THE SENTINEL, THE LAST HUNTER – PURSUIT and THE LAST HUNTER – ASCENT) which is about three more books than the average author. But I also co-authored and released SEVEN novellas collectively known as the Chesspocalypse. Each book focuses on a single member of Chess Team, a black ops team that deals with terrorists, madmen and monsters—sometimes all three at once. In November, the last three books of the Chesspocalypse arrived and brought the madness to a close. Before you ask, I’m currently planning just one Chesspocalypse book for 2012; CALLSIGN: KING – Book 3 – BLACKOUT, co-authored once again by Sean Ellis. That said, I’m also planning on releasing the fourth full length Chess Team novel, RAGNAROK in late summer, 2012. So, let’s get to the books!
CALLSIGN: KING – Book 2 – UNDERWORLD has arrived ahead of schedule! I could have waited for all the Callsign Book 1s to finish out before releasing this one, but the story could not be contained. For real. It has nothing to do with Christmas being on the way. Okay, fine. Maybe a little. But the story IS awesome. Not only is Sean Ellis once again the (superb) co-author, but we’ve brought back King’s close friend, and archaeologist, George Pierce for this story, and the pair, who are deadly and brilliant when together, find themselves once again knee deep in shhhhenanigans. Check out the story description below and then hop on over to Amazon or B&N and pick it up! *Apple and print coming soon.
The second and third books of the Chesspocalypse are available now! It’s somehow fitting that Queen and Rook come out together. Both characters have the other on the brain, but are separated by thousands of miles as Queen visits Pripyat, Russia, on the outskirts of Chernobyl, and Rook finds himself in a strange and dangerous town in northern Norway. Both books are currently available as e-books at B&N, Amazon and Smashwords, but will be in print in the next few weeks. Book covers, descriptions and buy links below!
