KRONOS!

Kronos has arrived and is now available to buy on Amazon, Barnes&Noble and everywhere else books are sold!

Based, in part, on the legend of the Great New England Sea Serpent, this is a fast-paced deep sea thriller like no other. Don't believe me? Here's a blurb from Steve Alten, NY Times bestselling author of MEG, MEG - Hell's Aquarium and The Loch, "Moby Dick meets James Bond thriller with an amazing twist!" Alten is a master of the deep sea thriller and I'm thrilled to have his support on the book.

Erik Hollander (the book cover designer) is also the director of the JAWS documentary, The Shark is Still Working, and has interviewed the likes of Stephen Spielberg and M. Night Shyamalan. When he heard the story (and the twist) he was blown away and said, "You've totally reinvented the genre!"

For details on the book including the story summary, video trailer, mini-documentary and reviews click here to visit the Kronos page.

Antarktos Rising is being published in Spain (in Spanish) by an amazing publisher, Via Magna. The book arrives in March! These are the guys that turned Steve Alten's novel, Domain, into a Spanish language bestseller, selling more than 150,000 copies. Amazing. And it's no wonder, they produce top notch books. Check out the cover for the Spanish version of Antarktos Rising. It's a thing of beauty. I can't wait to see how it sells! Way to go Via Magna. I may not be able to read your books, but I sure am a fan of them.

Good day watchers! Here is the newest installment of the vlog. There are lots of updates due to the time I've had to be off air... enjoy!

• We've been offline due to NH power outages (ice storm).

KRONOS is here! Due out Jan 20, the cover is quite impressive, is it not? Thanks to Erik Hollander (has created covers for Steve Alten and Thomas Greanias) for a great cover design!

THE PRESIDENT'S HENCHMAN is also in and is Variance's second hardcover! Cover created by yours truly, interior design by Stan. TPH will be out Jan 13!

• Question 1a - What is a perfect book? One you start reading and can't put down... when you do all you think about is that book! For me, that was Descent by Jeff Long, and its sequel, Deeper. It was inspirational to me and my writing, thanks Jeff! ... Where is the third book?

• Q 1b - Do you read your books after release? Do you think you can make it better after its release? I don't always read them after release, only if a sequel is in the works. Though, through editing I have to read them many times pre-release. Sure, I do think that they can be better post-release, but that is part of the growth process... but I don't do it, I just improve my new novels.

• Q 2 - What kind of machine prints your books? I don't really know. We send our novels to printers (we have two, one mass market, one hard cover), but what I do know is it is offset printing and we do large print runs.

• My newest game, Dead Space. Gruesome, but fun!

• Next, I will be doing another video interview with Frank Creed with the Lost Genre Guild, that will be posted on YouTube, be sure to check it out!

• ...can you guess my shirt? How's this one Savile?

See you all next week (hopefully).

Thrillerfest = Awesomeness

I have returned from Thrillerfest, which was held at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Upon arriving at Penn Station I walked 1.5 miles, with 50lbs of clothing, books and laptop on my back and over my shoulder to meet my editor, Peter Wolverton, at Thomas Dunne. Despite my sweaty condition we had a great chat (this was our first face-to-face meeting). I then walked another 1.5 miles, with all my stuff from the Thomas Dunne office to the Grand Hayatt. And by the time I arrived I looked as though I’d walked through a cyclone. I found my room, took a shower, ordered room service and passed out.

Throughout the following days I attended many panels featuring amazing authors and learned a lot. But the highlights of the trip were meeting some of my favorite authors, including James Rollins, who has been a big supporter of my books over the past few years. I met my agent, Scott Miller, James Rollins, Brad Thor, David Angsten, Robert Gregory Browne, Matt Bronleewe, Robert Liparulo and many more. But my best story, the one that made the whole trip worthwhile was this:

Steve Berry, NY Times bestseller of several amazing thrillers was signing copies of the ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) for his upcoming release, The Charlemagne Pursuit. I got in line with everyone else expecting to sheepishly ask for him to sign the book. When it came my turn I handed him the book, he asked me who I wanted it signed to and before I got out a word, he had read my nametag and said, “Jeremy Robinson. Do you write thrillers?” I managed to say, “Yes.” He then said, “You wrote Antarktos Rising.” Stunned, I said, “Yes.” To which he replied, “I loved that book!” At which point my jaw dropped to the floor. Apparently, the always generous James Rollins had recommended the book to him. He bought it, read it and loved it. Wow. So now, with the book being re-released as a mass market paperback in October, Steve Berry is providing another blurb to be featured on the cover along side, James Rollins, Steve Alten, Stel Pavlou and Scott Sigler. Not a bad line-up! And he’s agreed to read ROUSE, the first book of the Chess Team series.

Rather than go on with more stories I’ll end it there. I will be returning to Thrillerfest next year and hope to be on at least one panel myself. If you’re an author, you should make an effort to go. The networking opportunities are amazing. If you’re a fan...it doesn’t get any better. The list of amazing authors who were there that I didn’t get to meet (this time) is outstanding.

Today is the day! Antarktos Rising is out and the bestseller campaign is officially underway! So head on over to Amazon.com between 12 noon and 1pm Eastern time, using the link below, and pick up your copy! Better yet, pick up copies for every novel reader you know. Take care of upcoming birthdays and next Christmas all at once! If you cannot by the book at that time, still buy it on the 1st (or even at a later date if necessary). It will still help! *There is a good chance Amazon will run out of stock, but order anyway. The book will go out within days (even if Amazon says it will take 4 - 6 weeks). Here's the link.

Buy Antarktos Rising - A Novel here!

Please forward this e-mail to everyone you know...on the planet! As an underdog in the publishing world I need all the help I can get! Hitting the Amazon.com bestseller list will help change that, but I can't do it without you. Assuming you all will forward the heck out of this e-mail, I've provided links to two advanced reviews along with the newly updated video trailer—for those unfamiliar with the book. I've also provided a "time-zone buy time chart" for folks not on the East coast.

As always, thanks for your help! Any success I achieve now or in the future is thanks to you.

Greetings everyone!

We’re at the end of the road, folks. This is the FINAL video in the Antarktos Rising/Amazon.com bestseller campaign. In this video I explain the campaign to the viewer, but much of the abuse I suffered throughout the campaign is played out again as I’m hit, flick, sprayed, exposed to harmful gases and on the receiving end of several gallons of water. So it’s informative and funny!

Now before you watch the video, lets go over a few things.

1. Antarktos Rising comes out on August 1st. That’s this Wednesday. So plan on buying the book on Wednesday.

2. But don’t just buy the book on the 1st, buy it between 12 noon and 1pm, eastern time. Amazon compiles their sales rank hourly, so a spike in sales in a single hour will make the most difference. If you can’t do this, your purchase throughout the day will still help, so don’t give up if you can do these hours. For those not on the US east coast, check out my website for the right time in your US time zone: http://www.jeremyrobinsononline.com/.

3. Think big. Are there any birthdays coming up? Want to get a jump on Christmas? Buy multiple copies as gifts! You’ll get free shipping for buying two and a great gift to give. If you want to know the book is good before buying it, consider the blurbs from James Rollins, Steve Alten, Stel Pavlou and Scott Sigler. These guys don’t give out endorsements lightly. Also, check out these two, awesome advance reviews!

Review #2

4. If you want to check on the sales rank for Antarktos Rising on the 1st, please do not check it on the book’s product page. Going to the page over and over without buying the book actually hurts the sales rank. If you want to check the rank, visit my Amazon profile page. This page shows all the sales ranks for all of my books.

I think that’s everything. I’ll be sending an e-mail early Wednesday morning with a link to buy the book and a reminder about all this other stuff, so if you have a short memory, I’ve got your back! On with this week’s video!

Thanks for all your help! We’re almost there!

OTHER GREAT AUTHORS

I'm a huge fan of the genre I write, and read books by the following authors like they were my Grandma Vincent's homemade chocolate bon-bons on Christmas Eve. If you're a fan of any of these authors, you'll feel right at home within the pages of my books.

jamesrollins.com - My favorite author, and my biggest supporter, James Rollins, bestselling author of BLACK ORDER and THE JUDAS STRAIN can do no wrong in my book. I've been a fan since reading SUBTERRANEAN maybe seven years ago.

prestonchild.com - Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child are the fantastic writing duo that brought us THE RELIC, DEEP STORM and BOOK OF THE DEAD. Whether they're writing together or solo, these guys don't miss.

matthewreilly.com - Matthew Reilly's novels are basically action-adventure/thrillers on speed. I love his creative and his non-stop pace. His first novel, CONTEST is not only my favorite of his, but it was also originally self-published...no wonder I like him!

stevealten.com - Steve Alten thinks big...big creatures that is. I discovered his books about two years ago and read one after the other until I ran out, finishing with THE LOCH, which I have to admit was a major inspiration (along with his MEG series) for the novel I just finished writing. I am now proud to say that I am publishing the next book in the MEG series, HELL'S AQUARIUM through my publishing company, Variance.

crichton-official.com - Not including his two most recent book, Michael Crichton is the master of science based thrillers. JURASSIC PARK, THE LOST WORLD, TIMELINE, SPHERE and PREY all rank among my favorite novels.

scottsigler.com Scott is not only a cool guy, but he also writes awesome novels. Ancestor, which I blurbed, is one of my favorite new novels. Look for his future books, INFESTED and NOCTURNAL from Crown Books.

jackdubrulbooks.com - When you're looking for action adventure novels, Jack DuBrul's character, Phillip Mercer, can't be beat. And now that DuBrul is teaming up with the granddaddy of the genre, Clive Cussler, we'll be seeing a lot more from him.

stelpavlou.com - Not only is Stel a stand up Brit and a really nice guy, but he's also written one of the finest books of the last 10 years. DECIPHER is an amazing and smart thriller.
