The Last Hunter – Ascent

Filed under: Novels,Updates — Tags: Antarctica, antarktos, horror, Solomon Ull Vincent, Teen Fantasy, young adult — Jeremy Robinson @ 2:28 pm

It’s no secret that THE LAST HUNTER series are my personal favorites out of all my books. They feature all the action, monsters, mythology and craziness of my other novels, but they’ve got more heart, and a main character, who is based on my son, Solomon. The story is more personal and moving while still being action packed and, at times, quite gory.

A few years ago I had the pleasure of working with the most frustrating, aggravating people on the planet (you’ve been there, too). And when I finally removed myself from the situation, I had a storehouse of negative emotions eating at me. I needed catharsis, but I don’t box, hunt, or even hurl inanimate objects. I gave up cooking ants with a magnifying glass thirty years ago. I’m just not a violent person. Outwardly. As many of you know, my imagination is a different story. I once had a gallery art show featuring some of my comic art. I stepped up next to a woman looking at my work and she said to me, “Man, Jeremy Robinson sure is a violent person.” The point is, my catharsis would come from my imagination. But the product couldn’t just be freakishly violent. It also had to be funny because I needed to find my sense of humor again. The resulting project was THE NINJA’S PATH – INSPIRATIONAL SAYINGS FOR THE SILENT ASSASSIN, a very funny, very violent parody on inspirational books written and illustrated under the pen name, Kutyuso Deep (sound it out).

The King is back, baby!

Filed under: Novels,Updates — Tags: action, archaeology, Callsign, chess team, jack sigler, King, myth, new release, novella, thriller — Jeremy Robinson @ 10:02 am
CALLSIGN: KING – Book 2 – UNDERWORLD has arrived ahead of schedule! I could have waited for all the Callsign Book 1s to finish out before releasing this one, but the story could not be contained. For real. It has nothing to do with Christmas being on the way. Okay, fine. Maybe a little. But the story IS awesome. Not only is Sean Ellis once again the (superb) co-author, but we’ve brought back King’s close friend, and archaeologist, George Pierce for this story, and the pair, who are deadly and brilliant when together, find themselves once again knee deep in shhhhenanigans. Check out the story description below and then hop on over to Amazon or B&N and pick it up! *Apple and print coming soon.

Jeremy Robinson’s Great Kindle Giveaway Blog Tour

Filed under: contest,Updates — Tags: blog, blog tour, contest, free, giveaway, kindle, newsletter — Jeremy Robinson @ 11:03 am
In the month of October I will be visiting a different blog every weekday and answering three questions about writing, publishing, or anything else the blog owner feels like asking me. Each day will bring something different. And for the readers of these blogs there will be a chance to win not one, but two Kindles. To be entered in the contest blog readers just need to visit my website and sign up for the newsletter. On October 31st I will pick, at random, a Kindle winner. For the second Kindle, there’s a catch. The second Kindle giveaway will be triggered if any one of my books (Jeremy Robinson or Jeremy Bishop) reaches Amazon.com’s bestseller list (top 100) during the month of October. My vote is for THE SENTINEL. :)

The second and third books of the Chesspocalypse are available now! It’s somehow fitting that Queen and Rook come out together. Both characters have the other on the brain, but are separated by thousands of miles as Queen visits Pripyat, Russia, on the outskirts of Chernobyl, and Rook finds himself in a strange and dangerous town in northern Norway. Both books are currently available as e-books at B&N, Amazon and Smashwords, but will be in print in the next few weeks. Book covers, descriptions and buy links below!
