It’s happening at last! Robinsonfest! Don’t miss this chance to meet with international bestselling author Jeremy Robinson, as he gives you a personal tour of New England locations featured prominently in many of his stories. Robinsonfest will be a chance to hang out with your favorite author and get the answers to all of your burning questions about Chess Team, Nemesis, and the many other characters in the Robinsonverse.
In addition to finally having the chance to meet face-to-face with Jeremy and many of his fans you might know only through social media, you might also get the opportunity to meet and talk with some of your favorite Chess Team co-authors. (Final lineup to be confirmed, but bestselling authors Sean Ellis, J. Kent Holloway, and David Wood are considering attending the event! Bestselling author Kane Gilmour has confirmed attendance already.)

Robinsonfest 2015 will be held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA, from June 4th–7th. The nearest major airport to Portsmouth is Boston Logan International Airport.
The hotel we’ll be staying at is the Motel 6, in Portsmouth. The address is 3 Gosling Rd

The trip will feature a number of activities around New Hampshire, with a planned Isle of Shoals ferry cruise and a planned excursion to Beverly, MA, home of the FC-P (featured in the novel Project Nemesis). The exact itinerary is subject to change, but the gist of the activities is apparent from the attached sample itinerary. Most importantly, you’ll get a chance to meet Jeremy and ask him questions, as well as meeting Kane (and possibly more authors) and hanging out with fellow Robinsonverse fans.

Lodging is available at Motel 6, Portsmouth. Rates for the event are all under $80 per night (and vary depending on how many people will share a room, and the Thursday night rate is less than the Friday and Saturday night rates). You will need to make your own reservations at the hotel, but give them the event name (Robinsonfest) and they should give you a rate of approximately $80 per night for a total of three nights (Jun 4–6, 2015):

There might also be a special code you need to provide the hotel for that rate. If there is, we’ll get it to you as soon as possible.
*NOTE: This rate will get more expensive as we get closer to the event, so if you plan to attend, you need to get your reservations in soon, to lock in these rates.
You are, of course, free to choose lodging elsewhere (or even to camp, if that suits you). The Motel 6 will be our designated start and end point for various outings, though, and if you choose to stay somewhere else, it will be your responsibility to get to and from the Motel 6 for activities.
If you are flying in, we recommend taking bus transport from Boston’s Logan airport to the Portsmouth Transportation Center, which is two miles south of town. C&J Lines has several plush buses a day from Logan, at a cost of approximately $46 per person, round trip. The ride is around 1.5 hours long. We will provide a connecting ride in a van from the Portsmouth Transportation Center to the hotel at two (2) times on Thursday, June 4th. The first ride will be at 3:45pm. The second will be a late pickup at 8:45pm. Please arrange your travel to coincide with these pickup times if you require transport to the hotel.
Another option is to take the Greyhound bus instead of C&J lines, which arrives at the 54 Hanover Street bus station in downtown Portsmouth, which is about 1.5 miles from the hotel. Greyhound only has two arrivals a day (and only one of which is after the hotel’s check-in time). Rate is between $19.00 and $49.00 round trip through Greyhound. This option would require transit from Logan airport to the Boston South Station Transit Center as well. We will not be collecting passengers from the downtown bus station, so if you chose this option, you would also need to get to the hotel (approx 1.5 miles from the downtown bus station), via taxi.
Event participants are welcome to come with their own transportation if they wish.
We will be providing a van service for the Beverly trip. The pier for the Isle of Shoals ferry will also be a short van ride from the hotel.
All meal and drink costs are not included, and are at the individual’s expense. The meal at Moxy restaurant on Thursday is optional and will be very informal, for those who have arrived early. The event actually begins on Friday morning. There are several eateries fitting all price ranges near the hotel (which is walking distance from The Mall at Fox Run area).
We are charging a $200.00 registration fee (per participant) for the event. It will cover costs for transportation with the vans for the Beverly trip, and pick-up and drop-off at the Bus Terminal. The fee will also defray some of the costs associated with meeting spaces and with (hopefully) bringing additional co-authors to the event. Tickets for the Isle of Shoals ferry trip will be included in this registration fee also. Groups of 2 - 5 get a slight discount.
Where does the registration fee go? The registration fee pays for a cruise, the other four author's travel costs, several vans, gas and drivers to take the whole group to various locations, up to 1.5 hours away. The money does not go to me, and it's likely I will be paying for some of this myself. I'm also paying for all the books we will be giving away. We've worked hard to make this as affordable as possible, and we are doing it because fans have asked me to. As for the 50-person limit, that's simply the most we can fit into B&N, the cruise, the vans, and hotel.
