GUARDIAN has arrived!

Filed under: Novels,Updates — Tags: chess team, continuum, guardian, historical, jack sigler, novella, thriller, time travel — Jeremy Robinson @ 11:52 am

When I came up with the idea for Omega, the latest full length Jack Sigler/Chess Team novel, I knew the events of that book would spawn a new series covering the events hinted at in Omega, but not covered in detail. GUARDIAN is the first book in that series, which I’ve dubbed, The Jack Sigler Continuum series and is co-authored by the very awesome J. Kent Holloway. Kent is not only an excellent writer, but also a hardcore fan of the series, and I think that really comes through in this story.

SUMMARY:

Jack Sigler, Callsign: King, has been a lot of things in his life. A soldier, a father, a hero. But now he’s taking up a new title: guardian.

After a life fighting billionaire madmen, terrorists and unnatural threats, he’s stuck thousands of years in the past, using his knowledge of history and modern warfare to right wrongs and stand up for those in need.

When he meets a twelve year old boy–the prince of the Babylonian Empire–who is to be sacrificed to the ancient goddess, Tiamat, by a twisted High Priest, King steps in, sword swinging. But what starts as a simple snatch and grab, quickly turns into a pitched battle against a legion of men and hideous creatures. As Tiamat rises from her ancient resting place, the fate of the world–and King’s future–is at stake.

Trapped millennia in the past and gifted with regenerative abilities, King must live out the centuries until he returns to his own time and his family. The Jack Sigler Continuum series tells the events that occurred in King’s life as a result of the full-length novel, Omega, but no prior reading is required to enjoy the Continuum series. Each story will be a standalone adventure, and a great jumping-on point. For more of King’s adventures, check out the entire Jack Sigler/Chess Team series.

  1. Will this be available in print on demand? I am also looking forward to the next part of your Kaiju series Project:731. Will there also be a third Jane Harper book (Valkyrie)? Sorry about the print requests, but I prefer the feel of a book and no body will mug you for an eight dollar paperback. Thank you.

  2. Hey Travis,

The Guardian should be available in print, in roughly two weeks. It just takes longer to set up. As for Jane Harper, her fate is still undecided. We really need the first two books to start selling better, I think. I really hope so, though.

  4. Glad you enjoyed it, Mary! There is no specific time frame yet. Ideally, it will be one book per year, but we need to wait and see how the first one does. Thanks for reading! — Jeremy
