What ELSE is next?

Seriously? You expect me to do more than sell 14 novels this year? I do this on my own, you know. Fine, if you want to be like that, here’s what else, aside from the aforementioned novels, you can look forward to from the Jeremyverse.

BeneathBENEATH in hardcover. I’ve received a surprising amount of e-mails from fans requesting BENEATH in hardcover format. I am currently getting quotes from printers and will hopefully be able to do a 500 – 1000 print run, which will be SIGNED and NUMBERED and sold directly to fans. But, whether or not this happens is 100% on demand. I will be starting a kickstarter.com campaign for preorders. Once preorders get high enough for me to break even, the books will get printed. If we can’t hit that dollar amount (I’m not sure what it will be yet) the books won’t get printed. But I hope it happens because these books will be purty and will include several pages of sketches (by me).

PulseA CHESS TEAM COMIC BOOK! Yes, how super cool would that be? This project is in a similar situation to the BENEATH hardcover. I’m currently waiting on quotes from several artists and if the price isn’t astronomical, we’ll start things out with a kickstarter campaign to raise the funds for the art productions. Once the art is done we’ll take the book (48 pages, full color) to a select group of comic publishers for printing and distribution. The good news is that I already have an offer on the table from one publisher, so publication is a done deal if we can fund this. The story for the comic will take place between INSTINCT and THRESHOLD and hopefully, come out before THRESHOLD.

*FYI, for those that don’t know Kickstarter, you DO get things in return for funding a project. Those that fund BENEATH will get the signed and numbered novel. Some will get 20×30 posters, etc. Same with the comic. Copies. Posters. Sketches. All signed.

iPhone App – My original goal was to make a Chess Team iPhone App GAME. But that’s crazy expensive. So it’s on the back burner. What we will be seeing is an app I have deemed AuthorWire. From the App you can access the blog, twitter feed, a video channel, a cover gallery and two full length audiobooks. All for just $.99 This should be complete within the next two weeks.

CHESS TEAM MINI ADVENTURES! – Can’t get enough Chess Team? Then good news! I’ll be putting out a short (30,000 words-ish) prequel e-book featuring your favorite mythological monster killers. The first book (untitled) will feature the team’s origins. How Deep Blue found and assembled the team for their very first mission will be revealed. If all goes well you can expect one of these mini adventures every year to supplement the books, which don’t come out nearly as fast as you, or I, would like.

So there you have it. Now you know EVERYTHING I’ll be doing for the next year. Of course, not all of this is guaranteed. The BENEATH hard cover and CHESS TEAM comic book depend 100% on fan support. The iPhone App is definitely happening and the CHESS TEAM MINI ADVENTURE will come out just as soon as I write the thing. Hope you come along for the ride—and are ready to spread the word about funding some projects!!
